Mentorship Meeting with Sir Tim Clark
I consider myself fortunate to regularly interact with so many legends. There are always meetings for business and collaborative discussions with people, but certain sessions are exceptional. I feel as though I am in a business class at one of the most prestigious business schools. I learn, discover, and like listening a lot.
Emirates Airlines is the best airline in the world, and I had the opportunity of meeting with Sir Timothy Charles Clark, the airline's president. Over the past two decades, he has managed Emirates Airlines, and he was kind enough to explain how he organized an airline company in terms of experience management. From the home to the aircraft, services at the airport, the flight experience, and even post-flight services. I was astonished to hear all of these detailed experiences from him, which obviously demonstrates his involvement in the operation.
He then gave me advice on how to replicate the similar experience at a medical facility. The trip a patient makes from their house to the hospital. Hospital services, include greeting visitors and patients. We have went through the journey of a patient together. His suggestions were fantastic for providing our patients with the best possible care.
After our meeting, I felt like I'd gained a lot of knowledge, as it was a mentoring session. Thank you very much for the insightful conversation, Sir Tim Clark.
